See your ring before it is made

The line in our advert is "designed with you", and we mean it literally. We sit down together, talk through what you have in mind, then build it in our 3D design studio while you watch.

You see the ring from every angle before anyone touches metal. If the shoulders look too heavy, or the stone sits higher than you pictured, we change it there and then. Adjusting a design on screen is a good deal easier than living with a finished ring that is not quite right.

Most people arrive with something in mind and no idea how to describe it. That is normal, and it is the part we enjoy. A photograph you saved, a family ring you love the shape of, or simply "something simple, but not plain" is enough to start from. If you would rather have a play first, our online jewellery builder lets you try settings and stones at home before you book anything.

Hand-made in our Chichester workshop

Once the design is right, your ring is made by hand in our own workshop at 64 South Street. It does not go off to a factory or to a trade bench somewhere else. The people who designed it with you are the people who make it.

That matters more than it sounds. When the maker is in the same building as the designer, a small change late in the process is a conversation rather than a problem. It also means we can show you the piece as it comes together, if you would like to see it.

Repairs, resizing and remodelling happen at that same bench. If you have a ring that needs restoring, or an inherited piece you would like reworked into something you will actually wear, bring it in and we will talk through what is possible before you commit to anything.

Certified stones, lab-grown or natural

Every diamond and gemstone we work with comes certified, so you know what you are buying and where it came from. We offer lab-grown diamonds alongside natural ones, and we will explain the difference honestly rather than steer you toward either.

We also work with sapphires, emeralds and moissanite. If you would rather not have a diamond at all, that is a conversation worth having. Coloured stones open up a lot of designs that a white stone will not, and they tend to surprise people.

Our engagement rings and wedding rings in the showroom are a starting point rather than the limit. Plenty of couples pick a setting they like, change two things about it, and end up with something that is theirs.

If you cannot get to Chichester

Plenty of the couples reading these magazines are not local to West Sussex. We bring the showroom to you instead, with private home visits by appointment, or a video consultation if that is simpler to organise.

We travel regularly for engagement rings in Hampshire, Surrey, Greater London and across West Sussex. High-value pieces and surprise proposals are both easier to handle at your kitchen table than in a shop, and there is no pressure to decide anything on the day.

Common questions

Do I need an appointment?

No. You are welcome to walk in during opening hours and have a look around. If you want an hour of someone's full attention, particularly for a bespoke design, it is worth booking a private consultation so the time is set aside for you.

Do you actually make the rings yourselves?

Yes. Design and making both happen at 64 South Street in Chichester. We have one showroom, and that is where the workshop is.

Can you come to us instead?

Yes, by appointment. Private home visits are part of how we work, not an exception we make reluctantly.

Can you use the stones from a ring I already own?

Usually. Bring it in, or send us a photograph to start with, and we will tell you honestly whether the stones will carry over into the design you have in mind.

How long does a bespoke ring take?

It depends on the design and on stone sourcing, so we will give you a timescale once we know what we are making. If you are working to a date, tell us early and we will be straight with you about whether it is realistic.
