4. Craftsmanship & Creation
Our skilled craftsmen meticulously craft your new jewellery using traditional techniques combined with modern technology in our in-house workshop. We pay close attention to every detail to ensure that your piece is of the highest quality.
5. Final Inspection & Polish
Before your remodelled jewellery is ready for you, we conduct a thorough final inspection to ensure that it meets our exacting standards. We then polish the piece to perfection, bringing out its brilliance and luster.
Jewellery Insurance Valuations.
When a piece has been remodelled, its value changes — and an old valuation no longer reflects what it would cost to replace. Insurers need an accurate, current figure, and an out-of-date certificate can leave a treasured piece underinsured.
We provide written insurance valuations for jewellery we remodel, and for pieces brought to us specifically for valuation. Each assessment is carried out in our Chichester workshop and covers materials, gemstones, craftsmanship and current replacement cost — the figure your insurer needs, rather than a resale estimate. Valuations are £25 per item.
If we have remodelled your piece, we already know exactly what went into it, which makes the valuation more accurate than one produced by someone seeing it for the first time.
