Exploring Designs

It’s time to delve into your jewellery design details! You can view our existing rings in person, online, or via the online builder. Once your stone and setting details are decided, we will start sourcing your unique gemstones!

Create and Refine Design

It’s time for the details. We’ve found your dream stones, and now our dedicated CAD designer is ready to create a 3D rendered image of your jewellery. We can fine tune the design, adding details, and changing your claw style until it’s perfect!

The Crafting Process

Your stunning jewellery is cast, hand set, and finished by our skilled UK based jewellers. We meticulously check every detail is perfect, add any personalisation you've chosen, and then your ring is carefully prepared for its journey to you.

I lost the original stone in a signet ring that has been in my family for many generations. Other jewellers, both here and in Dubai attempted to match the original, but failed miserably! I used to go to the previous jewellers on this spot for years, so I popped into the new jewellers, Griffin & Co, on Monday to get a couple of rings repaired. They were badly bent and very dirty, so I wasn’t sure what to expect.

What is the most popular width for a men's wedding ring?

While personal preference plays a huge role, the standard width for men's wedding bands is typically between 5mm and 6mm.

This size offers a substantial look without feeling too bulky or restricting movement. However, we offer bands ranging from a subtle 3mm up to a bold 8mm.

We highly recommend visiting our Chichester showroom to try on different widths, as a ring often looks different on your hand than it does in a picture.

I work with my hands. Which metal is the most durable?

For those with active lifestyles or manual jobs, we usually recommend Platinum.

It is a naturally dense and hard-wearing metal that doesn't fade or tarnish. Unlike gold, which loses microscopic amounts of metal when scratched, platinum merely displaces, meaning the volume of the ring remains the same over a lifetime.

9ct Gold is also a very durable option due to its lower gold content making it harder than 18ct, though it may require polishing more frequently to maintain its shine.

Do you offer finishes other than the traditional shiny polish?

Yes, we offer a variety of finishes to give your ring a distinct character. Apart from the classic High Polish, we offer:

  • Brushed / Satin: A matte effect that reduces the glare of the metal and helps hide fine scratches.
  • Hammered: A textured, artisanal finish that reflects light in unique ways and is excellent for masking wear and tear.
  • Two-Tone: Combining white and yellow gold for a modern contrast.
    These textured finishes are particularly popular for men who want a ring that feels masculine and contemporary.
What is the difference between a "Court" and a "Flat" profile?

The profile refers to the cross-section shape of the ring:

  • Court: The traditional choice. It is curved on the outside and curved on the inside (Comfort Fit), making it the most comfortable option to wear, especially if you aren't used to wearing rings.
  • Flat: Has a square edge and a flat top for a modern, architectural look.
  • Flat Court: A hybrid style that looks flat and modern on the outside but has the curved "Comfort Fit" on the inside.
Can I personalise my wedding band?

Absolutely. A wedding band is a personal symbol, and we offer several ways to make it unique.

We can engrave names, dates, or a meaningful phrase on the inside of the band. For a more subtle customisation, some grooms choose to have a small diamond or gemstone set on the inside of the band, sitting against the skin—a detail known only to you and your partner.
